1.) Tell us about yourself.
Hi! My name is Ianarã, I’m a 23 y.o. Brazilian. I’m a Taurus and my ascendant is Virgo. Besides fashion, I’m addicted to bitter chocolate, books and read about unknown people (with no possibility to know them one day) . Love to chat for hours, and I think people unlearned the art of a good chat . I lived in São Paulo, Manaus and currently live in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brasil. I live with my two cats, Givenchy and Céline . I made my first blog with 14 years, in this ‘gothic from hell’ phase that many teenagers have. For me, every week is fashion week and I have a friend that says that ‘Ianarã’ and ‘Fashion’ in the same sentence is redundant . I don’t watch TV, and don’t have a television set at home. I study Design at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, and I don’t think I’m special or different for it. Between the glass half full and half empty, I get the glass half empty, because I have the opportunity to fill it with the very best that life can offer. Among married and buy a bike, I prefer married, so I’ll have someone to go cycling with me (if I knew cycling). I am so eclectic musically, I hear from Christina Aguilera to Mozart, tecnobrega (a Brazilian rhythm) to k-pop. Without any modesty, I ‘m a great cooker. Even permeated by cliches , I’m not so obvious.
2.) What are your ‘must-have’ fashion items?
White shirts, a good well-fitted pair of blue jeans, black leather shoes, black leather sneakers and a good basic hat.
3.) What three impractical fashion items would you invest in (if money was no object)?
A black Birkin Bag, a black/white Boston Tote Céline and everything Riccardo Tisci puts on the runways of Givenchy.
4.) Have you got any fashion advice you think everyone could learn from?
Be bold! Know who you are, what works for you and, in between that, make unusual choices. “In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different” – Coco Chanel.
5.) What else would you like to tell us about yourself and how can we reach you?
I’d love to know new people! If you want to reach me, feel free to comment on my blog O Novo Preto or write me an e-mail (email@example.com). I write in portuguese, but I’d love to chat in English too. You can, also, follow me on Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and like the blog’s Fanpage. Finally, I want to thank The Lust List for this opportunity.
